Hi guys!!! How's your 2013 so far?? I hope everyone had a safe and fun way of welcoming the New Year.

Speaking of New Year, here is a "NEW" hairstyle that i have learned and it is so totally "CUTE"!! Guess where i have learned this hairstyle?..........did you get the clue, "CUTE"?

This hairstyle is so versatile. You can go from 1 hairstyle and make it into another hairstyle. Thus, the 2-in-1 hairstyle! This was the creation of one of my fave hair bloggers, Mindy of CUTE GIRLS HAIRSTYLES. They call these the "Lace/Feather Waterfall Braid Combo" into a "Ladder Braid combo".  We did the same hairstyle...but i started the first 3 strands in an "under-over-under" braiding/dutch braiding style. Mindy started it with an "over-under-over" technique. Nevertheless, the waterfall braid still came out the same. :)

Here's the pic of our lace/feather/waterfall braid combo:

And right after doing that waterfall braid, you can just let it be like that, or curl the "feathers" of the waterfall braid for a different effect. We, opted to do the Ladder Braid. And here is what it looks like:

My daughter loved wearing this hairstyle today. Though she wasn't able to wear this at school today (she didn't go to school, she's got fever), she still had it on while studying for their quarter exam. A "ladder" is one good inspiration, for you to reach the top, you need to step first at the bottom rung and climb up to reach the top. :)
